The collection of close to 300,000 print books and ebooks, searchable through the library's online catalog or electronic resources, was selected to support the school's curriculum, especially its research component, and to encourage pleasure reading. To supplement the book collection, the library has subscriptions to 115 print magazines and journals and ten national and local newspapers, as well as electronic databases with full-text articles from hundreds of newspapers, magazines, and scholarly journals.

The library moved from Hundred House to the Schoolhouse in 2015. The library, an academic hub within Groton's primary classroom building, attracts students for group and individual study with desks, carrels, and tables; comfortable chairs; and special study rooms with writable walls. A gas fireplace adds warmth and atmosphere during winter months. The library also includes a classroom for collaboration and library research skills instruction.
